Hello, and welcome back! Today is the March edition of the Hot Off the Press Real Estate Market Report! There's a lot to talk about in Montgomery County right now, so let's jump right into it. 

According to the Consumer Optimism Survey, done by the University of Michigan, consumer optimism is coming up to an 11-year high. Not since 2007 has the market seen such a high level of optimism! This indicates that more and more people will be jumping into the housing market, as consumer confidence is a HUGE factor when it comes to purchasing real estate.

Recently, the government announced that there would be a reduction in FHA insurance premiums! The National Association of Realtors predicts that this reduction will bring another 90,000-150,000 annual home purchases into the market. Additionally, mortgage credit availability is very high right now! There are a lot of people out there creating families and looking to buy homes, which is fantastic news! 

In general the market is in a fantastic place - money for loans is freeing up, interest rates remain low, and fees are becoming more affordable. With low inventory and many buyers hungry for great homes, now may be the time to put your home on the market! We currently have a perfect storm of conditions that could result in you getting top dollar for your home and in a short amount of time!
